Children’s Author and Poet
Hey, you say! It’s not a Monday! How can you post an #AuthorAcrostics on a Wednesday? Are you trying to trick us? Well, not exactly, but it is officially the Christmas season, so what better time to introduce you to Suzanne Nelson’s debut picture book?! Over in the Stable is a book to feast your eyes on thanks to the illustrations by Aleksandar Zolotic. You may read about all of Suzanne’s books and activities here.
What a year! One good thing that came out of 2020, tho, was the creation of #AuthorAcrostics. I’ve learned so much about all the participants and their personalities. I’m grateful for my friend, Kristin Nitz, and her visit here this Monday. I hope you have fun reading about her books and adventures. For the full scoop, look here!
Heather and I go way back. Actually I can’t remember when we first met, but we have been together like peanut butter & jelly at so many book signings, or at least like Ling and Lang Inc that we coined our name. A wonderful welcome to #AuthorAcrostics, my friend! You continue to delight readers of all ages. https://www.heatherlangbooks.com/
I’m always amazed at the fun creations my author friends come up with when playing #AuthorAcrosticis. Cynthia Levinson is no exception. And I learn something, too. I never knew she had an affinity to yellow dogs. 🙂 Learn more about Cynthia and enjoy her beautiful website here:
Does it surprise you? It doesn’t surprise me that my friend, Janet Costa Bates, went outside the box in her creativity with her #AuthorAcrostics. Besides, she is one of the best critique partners I could have because sometimes she looks at things upside down and backward in order to make a story stronger. To find out more about her upcoming books, look right here!
It’s Monday! Batter up…or in this case David A. Kelly is up. I’m excited to welcome him to #AuthorAcrostics. I hope you’ll take time to check out more about David and his books here:
Hear ye! Hear ye! It’s Monday and that means it’s time for #AuthorAcrostics. You’re probably getting the hang of this now, but I’m privileged to have the fabulous Nandini Bajpai here today. Please enjoy her fun acrostic and check out here website here
I’m here to give a warm welcome to my friend, Padma Venkatraman. I hope you love her acrostic as much as I do. Please find her website here.
I know this is a big week, and most people are eagerly awaiting other news in this country. That said, I hope you’ll take the time to check out this week’s #AuthorAcrostics with my friend, Josh Funk. His books are so contagiously silly, we all become kids when we read them. Check out his website here.
So long ago. So far away. Almost in another galaxy. Well, at least in the pre-Covid year of 2010, I met my agent at a small workshop in Somerville, MA. That meeting led to a trusted relationship and to the publication of several picture book manuscripts. I’m forever grateful to Ammi-Joan Paquette, both her positivity and her patience. As it turns out, she is pretty good with acrostics, too! You may find more about her books here.
